To help get this topic back on track (for the short while that it will), I will say that I personally like cats better.

Don't get me wrong, I love dogs too (owned two in my life… only), but cats still take the top spot. My reasoning? They're easier to take care of as they mostly take care of themselves. In addition to that, being that they're smaller, faster, more agile, and more flexible, they can easily get the rodents and bugs that lurk in the different dark corners of our house so, in a way, they also take care of the house too.

I've never really owned any cats though, to be honest. Most of the ones I took care of were strays that came to my house every now and then so that they can eat some food we prepare for them and so we can play and take care of their kittens. There were a lot of them too. I was technically the "crazy cat lady… er… dude" of my old village.
