Back in 1995, there was a battle between these two bands to get to #1 on the UK singles chart. There was a big rivarly between these two bands, and was shown when Blur moved the release date of their latest single "Country House" to compete with Oasis' single "Roll with It". In the end, Blur ended up winning with Oasis right behind them at #2. Even though "Country House" had more single sales, Blur's "The Great Escape" album didn't sell as good as Oasis' "(What's the Story) Morning Glory?"
So I'm asking, which of these two rivals did you prefer?
