Underrated Disney Movies

We all know that the Walt Disney Company has put out some legendary movies throughout its history (and some bad ones too). However, even there are a few good ones that are still forgotten to the people. So what I'd like you to do is mention any Disney movie (animated, non-animated or both) that you think deserves more attention.

One of those few that I'd like to point out is Pete's Dragon. I watched that movie ever since I was one, and it remains one of the few that I'll love forever. Yet for some reason no one seems to remember it. It even contains stars such as Helen Reddy, Mickey Rooney, Shelly Winters, and Red Buttons. It also shows great interaction with real life acting and animation.

Sheesh, you're all making me nostalgic. These are some good ones (BTW, Pete's Dragon is my wife's favorite), but I'm gonna have to go with…

(Hmm, I never noticed that Kurtz misspelled "Lansbury".)

Anyone else remember that limited-edition Atlantis cereal that revealed Atlantean symbols when you poured milk on them?

Yes, My sister would chime in with "I'm making animé happen!" when she poured the milk.

Oh yeah, Bedknobs and Broomsticks is also one that should be mentioned.

I'd like to take this time to point one certain Disney film out: "Song of the South". This is mainly because you cannot find this film on home video anywhere in America. This is due to the fact that it deals a lot with black racism in the south during the late 19th century. My mother actually had to buy the video from the U.K. on eBay and then have the tape recoded so that it would work on an American VCR. Even though the whole version of the film isn't available in the states, small parts of the film have been featured in various collections.

There is no such thing as "underrated Di$ney movie".

All of them are overrated, thanks to their huge (literally, planet-sized!) marketing machine.

Actually, the original TRON is incredibly overrated.

any Shred of good Publicity TRON gets Especially what it got before Legacy is well deserved.
Most of TRON's hype doesn't go above "good for it's time" Tier

There are several ones of note for me that are already stated in this thread such as The Sword in the Stone, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, The Black Cauldron, The Great Mouse Detective, Oliver & Company, and Treasure Planet.

Though, there are some other unstated ones that I'd like to make note of as well.

For one, The Rescuers Down Under, the only Disney sequel to have made the Classics list, sadly seems to be ignored by the general populace nowadays.

Another one, to some degree, could be Aristocats as I don't hear much about it as much as I do other movies under Disney's large collection.

Lastly, though some people may debate me on this being a good movie, I actually liked Home on the Range and wish it got more praise, if only for Alameda Slim alone.

So, yeah… Disney movies rock my socks off.
