I'm thinking about a new Community Building Contest. Now it will potentially be called "Survivor KYM" and we'll have tribes, challenges, and one person will emerge as the winner and get a sweet prize.

Now. Where you come in.
I haven't prepared a damn thing yet, because I'm gonna need some srs participation from users.

This thread isn't a formal sign-up (that'll be later) this is just to see if you guys are interested. So please give me a heads-up if this is something you'd like to do. Ask me any questions if you have them.

It should be like an ARG, where certain clues are hidden throughout the website or entries to secret treasures and so on and so forth.

This might be interesting, don't think I'd go far, but…

Well, it won't take place entirely on KYM, but it should take place 100% on the internet.

Also, it will be less about treasure and more about not being eliminated.

Not that those aren't good ideas, it's just simpler (for me) this way.

Well, I asked this in the IRC chat, but what is a Community Building Contest? I've only been here for 2 months, so what do you do for it?

Community Building Contests are just the names for the KYM contests I (with the help of others) coordinate for the KYM users. The name Community Building Contest came from Community Building Exercises which were all the rage when the new KYM forums came out.

Community Building Contests change every time.

The first one was a scavenger hunt, the second one was a sculpture contest.

This one is under construction but I'll tell you when I figure it out.

I'm game.
