I'm an 80's and 90's animation junkie, I watched a lot of thundercats as a kid.
20 something years later, they are bringing it back on Cartoon network.

What I want to know is your thoughts on this?
Every one is outraged with the anime style, but I think it looks great. Every one is big an muscular still and they have a bit of a realistic edge to them. If it was american done, it would have been CG or Flash animated because of cost.
I think with the anime company helping out, the animation is smooth and the character and franchise will be treated with the highest respect.
I'm so freakin pumped!

not only that, but lion O is a complete idiot…. or a typical american. I don't know anymore. Why do people write those kinds of characters? NOBODY LIKES THEM.

I like the dramatic opera music in the background.

Even though I can't see the vids (school connection), I'm just hopping that it doesn't suffer the same fate as all the super hero shows I grew up with. Like all the marvel characters. Too many remixes, but the animation is good. It's just something you have to get use to.

If the pilot episode starts with everybody naked like in the original version, I think this version would be well worth the watch, lol!

In all seriousness though, I only wish that they do a good job on this show. Thundercats was one of my favorite cartoons growing up. I really don't care in what style it's drawn, as long as it's enjoyable to watch, I'll be happy.

Thundercaaaaats!!! Loved it when I was little. And the new Thundercats looks freaking sweet. It's like The Last Airbender and Naruto BUT WITH CAT PEOPLE. OH MAN OH GOD. I totally approve of this.

I Love how the New Thundercats is coming along (big shock huh?)
I was a big fan of the Original series growing up (do my stereotypical ways hurt you?)
also If I remember correctly the CGI "movie" is just an abandoned test from a few years ago.
