I knew nothing about determining whether they were fake or not, so I searched. I did the fog test, and I think it evaporated in the amount of time for diamonds. Also, the gems in question are set in a metal with the number "925" engraved on it.

925 is the mark for silver, or sterling silver, right? Who puts fake diamonds in real silver? Well, maybe some crafty counterfeiters do. But I did find this outside a church, so I doubt that is the issue, and they don't have any play jewelry for the toddlers.

The bracelet has 33 gems. 11 regular sized diamonds and 22 smaller diamonds, two on either side of the 11 regular sized ones. It is 7 and a half inches long and can fit on a 14 year old's wrist. By regular size, I mean a little smaller than a small pupil. Like, the size of the letter O on your keyboard. Yeah, thats it.

How much do you wager I can fetch for it? If it IS a real diamond bracelet, I'm selling it and buying a new laptop.

Let's hope the Bracelet wasn't red and didn't come with a Roadkill Plushie, because then we wouled be enemys.

My family biz is garage selling, so we come across stuff like that all the time, still a good find.

We own a shop, but a shop is more of a liability than just selling things on your front door step.

From my calculations and observations….It's fake. It's worth about 20 dollars. I'll give you 30 for it.

Sell it online for an insane amount of money. Some rich dumbass will believe you.

But you could always ask a true professional, KYM is just filled with those on every subject.

Cut a piece of glass with it then it's real.

I don't know. From what I've read, even a real diamond can be scratched by glass, and that would make it worth less. I'll try it and do it gentle like…

Did it on a mirror. I scratched gently, but you can see the mark if you are looking for it. The gems seem undamaged. :D

You should still take it to a professional/trustworthy diamond certifier type person.
