Ok, well I got a Wii, as stated in the title, its a pretty fun console to have when friends are over, more funny if they are drunk.

But I got the Twilight Princess, and I am fairly pissed off that Nintendo would make such a bad story, and over easy game for the Zelda Series.

Also DVD player does not play DVDs, WTF nintendo??

EDIT: I made this thread out of lack of good threads.

Any games you would recommend, besides no more heroes.

Meh, its more of how its presented than the story itself.

for example, why is Zelda so god damn young still, link(ocarina of time) is dead, and your wearing his clothes from like over 100 years ago(creepy), steal his bow, and preclaim your self the hero of cool.

You would think they would at least split the time line, and say "we are restarting".

Also you turn into a wolf and fight oversized flees, boring.

This game is the reason to buy a Wii. You don't need anything else.

I completely agree. I'm a hard core zelda fan and I have to say that throwing gannon in at the last minute was a cop out. Zant had full compatibility to be a main zelda villain, even when he went completely berserk.
Everyone likes it for the graphics… and wolves.

Once you think about it. Twilight princess is a lot like a link to the past. huh..

You know that it was kind of announced/very quickly discovered that the DVD player function was removed from the Wii, right?

Well, than thats even more stupid, guess it time for the Homebrew hacks.
Time to break out those old ff7 cds too I guess.

Edit: nvm system update.

Suggestions: Goldeneye, Epic Mickey, and Wii Sports Resort.

Wii Sports Resort is my favorite among the games we have (although admittedly we don't have many). I think that's where the real strength of the Wii system is: family-friendly group games, but I may be biased being a guy in my late thirties with two young children.

Also, I've found it interesting that a lot of negative reviews of Mario Galaxy 2 complained that it was just more of the same stuff from the first game. I haven't played the sequel yet, but I enjoyed the first one so much that I really see nothing wrong with more of the same.

Am I the only person who did not care for Mario Galaxy? I mean, it was interesting enough for me to complete it, but I would never play it again.

I've played epic mickey and it's dark, hard to see and has terrible camera controls.
otherwise it was an interesting and addicting game. The whole time you're playing it, it's like watching one of those dark awkward disney scenes.

I have the first mario galaxy. I played it once… There's just something about it that makes it feel very limited. I know you're flying through space, but for some reason, being on the ground makes things feel bigger to me.

Mario Party 8 was a waste of time, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II was a waste of my time, Super Mario Galaxy 2 was a good sequel, Twilight Princess was epic if only for the music, and the fact that your companion is a fucking floating cat-girl-imp-demon-thingy! Super Smash Bros. Brawl was a masterpeice, Can't wait for the 3DS version to come out, gonna get one ASAP just for that game.

Than I shall get Super Smash bros, hope its epic.
