Well I still have a DS lite, and I don't know if I will get one because the 3DS, or DSi for that matter doesn't have a GBA port.

I bought a first generation DS in November. There's no way I could afford a 3DS.

Yes, the 3DS will make a fine Birthday Present. Hopefully it won't have the same availabilaty issues the Wii had during it's launch.

If I get a 3DS, it will probably be about 5 years from now when it costs $100 or less. Or maybe 10 years from now I'll get an emulator and illegally download the 3DS games and play them on my computer.
