If I announce that I'm a troll, I've failed to troll.
But if my announcement of being a troll causes others to facepalm for being such a failed troll, I have successfully trolled, bringing it full circle.
By openly describing the "ironic trolling fail" troll I've trolled no one.
But through persistent self-identification as a troll one can give off the appearance of a perpetual poser (newfag), enraging the elitists (oldfags) once again making the "ironic fail troll" troll successful.
Your move, people with "troll" in your name.
