I was in a conversation with a couple of friends the other day about anime/manga formulas. This is essentially taking a popular (or unpopular) anime/manga and breaking it down to the basics. For example:
[1 minute intro][7 minutes of yelling][2 minutes of rage-faces][15 minutes of powering-up]
[3 minutes of fighting]+[1 minute ending credits]= the average episode of DragonBall Z.
Any others that you guys can think of? Post 'em here!
Just as a sidenote, this is obviously a forum about anime. No matter how much you argue about it, in the end, you're still arguing about anime. Feel free to troll all you want, just remember that it's not gonna mean much in the long-run. Thanks!

But I do remember one episode of Naruto Shippuden I saw, which was the episode where I decided I fucking hate Naruto Shippuden where it went like this
[1.5 minute intro] [40 minutes of either a flashback to something not even 10 episodes ago or staring contest between Naruto and Orochimaru] [3 minutes of actual fighting] [1.5 minute ending]
It was one of those double-length episodes.
