This may seem like a stupid thread topic, but I just want to see how many people can think of.

First, I'll start off with a movie that defines most of my early childhood: Mary Poppins. I was really suprised when I learned about movie length that it was that long, I guess it goes to show you that young children eyes don't really pay attention to a lot of things.

Harry Potter and the fuckin' Chamber of Secrets. It had NO RIGHT to be that long.
Me and my family decided to watch the Rifftrax, thinking it'd be a quick bit of fun.
161 MINUTES!

Family movies are never THAT long; children NEVER have enough patience OR attention span.

The Karate Kid

Both versions. The new one is even longer at about 140 minutes.

Watched this as a kid. Still watching it… I think my VCR won't let it end.
