You Know that's one of the reasons I haven't done a meme entry. I want to be sure before I start it plus I want to do the research before starting it. But then of course someone else will go and start it. That has happened to me twice now. A bunch more that I waited to see if they would spread never did take off. I think more people should wait and see what is going to happen with it and do their research before they do a meme entry. We would have less entries in Deadpool, I tell you What.
TL;DR

Exactly why I don't do entries. I'll leave that to the pros. Thats how they make the big bucks…

The vast majority of deadpooled entries are forced, not "poorly researched", which pisses us off >:I
If its "too early," "already submitted" (say, if it was hard to find the original entry- especially for memes w/out an agreed upon name), or "just not what we're trying to document on KYM" it'll probably get deadpooled, but it's usually cool. So preemptive entries are actually encouraged, along with stubs (a crap entry is better than none at all, that's why its in submissions).

And deadpooled entries are nothing to be ashamed of. Pretty much all the Entry Moderators have experienced the sting of deadpool at least once, myself included ;_;

/rant

sorry, just had to get that out of my system >_<
