I call it "Psych Ward". It's about a typical teenager named Ward Cooper,who just happens to be the world's youngest psychologist. The series revolves around him trying to balance high school, teen life, and helping patients with personality disorders. Any ideas/characters you would like to see/comments?

Actually, this could be very successful.

I like how he's kept the basic plot very simple, it's good not to overcomplicate things.

I need characters! I've come up with a rival psychologist who scorns Ward because he's still a kid, but that's about it.

This one's always popular; a dude with gynophobia, the irrational fear of women. Then you could slap a female counterpart in there that's interested in him, and lulz will ensue at every turn.

Or better yet a woman with that fear. Her breasts lead to her own demise.

I've been reading a lot of black jack recently (it's like the manga version of House!) and it gave me an idea for a character: a guy who lives right next to an airport, and the sound of the roaring jet engines have driven him so far up the wall that he's developed neurosis and stabs himself in the ears when ever the engines go off
Also: the whole "gynophobic chick"is pretty interesting. I could make the idea really creepy, but i won't.

Moo, I say, moo!) alien hand syndrome (your hand acts like it has a mind of its own) chromophobia (fear of bright colors….are you sure that's not just being emo? XD) Ephebiphobia (fear of teens…yeah, that could be interseting, considering Ward's age…..) Agateophobia (fear of insanity. How crazy is that? oh….. that joke was awful)….the list just keeps going!

I think I have very minor Agateophobia…..

How about a guy who is trying to find out how magnets work, but his Alzheimer's makes him not only keep forgetting that he asked, but when he finally finds the answer he forgets. LOL

Ward would just smile and shrug, before saying:
"Fucking miracles, i guess."

I can Imagine a very humorous premise from a psychologist in this, but I can already come up with two unhappy endings for this- one of his patients kills him or he goes insane himself from his work load (ah, I'm just pessimistic). Being a member of KYM I'll be disappointed if there is no one going crazy from the newest internet shenanigan.

Also, perhaps there's a better term to use than manga? It's obviously going to be english based, so its something else, depending on your work habits.
