Modern Bubsy is the nickname of what they think happened to Bubsy after the failure of his franchise: He became an emo trans prostitute:

srs note: yeah, and with the bubsy rerelease on steam (plus this character's game being developed), i can see this character becoming quite popular on the internet.
so yeah, it looks entryworthy.

I definitely find Squirly Jacks' "Modern Bubsy" to be quite interesting, and yeah I've noticed her getting some traction around deviantArt and Tumblr. It actually seems like the inclusion of Modern Bubsy in "Super Space Funeral IV Blood Red Version & Bubsy" is getting the attention of people more than the fact the game in question is a fan-remake of a semi-obscure RPG Maker game that has a small cult following (I confess I didn't even know it was a remake of a pre-existing game until I Googled "Space Funeral" and found a TV Tropes page for it).

I dare say Modern Bubsy has probably become a bigger thing in Jacks' art then her own original creations ("Blax and Jack" is a webcomic she does, but it's not very far along yet, though she has plenty of art of both characters on her deviantArt). Though she has been getting a bit more attention also on the basis that art from her was featured in one of I Hate Everything's responses toward Derek Savage (Jacks' herself said on her deviantArt that Savage himself actually once asked her if she'd do art for something Cool Cat related, something she refused because she really didn't want to be associated with Cool Cat).

I sent Jack (I dunno why I keep putting an "s" in her username) a note on deviantArt and she says she's all for us making a Modern Bubsy article, since she's all in favor of more publicity, and she's even been receiving some positive reception from 4chan regarding Modern Bubsy (anyone who regularly visits 4chan, especially /v/, see if you can dig up any threads discussing Modern Bubsy).

She's also got a demo of Space Funeral IV coming out within the next week that will have a playable Modern Bubsy section, so that can be useful for the article.

I'm not sure if I want to be the one to start the article since I'm kinda still getting the hang of that specifically, but I'll be glad to help clean it up if need be. (that is if it's made in the first place)

I told Jack that when or if we make the article I'd send it her way so she can make sure we didn't fuck up any information, heh.

Even Bubsy didn't deserve this.
