We have quite some months time until Christmas. The second trailer has just been released. A new Battlefront game is coming alongside the release of the seventh film. It is a historic time in Star Wars and film history.

That said, what is your plan with all this? Take it all in, the whole bundle? Play the game and watch the movie? Watch it in theaters, or wait for reviews and time to test its hype? Research and analyze every little detail we are given through news and trailers? Or perhaps go in blindly and experience it with little outside influence that alters your personal feelings?

Tell me, I'm curious to everyone's approach with this, and maybe we can swap a few ideas.

With the original two Battlefront games, I believe I rented both (this was back when Blockbuster was still a pretty big deal), then decided I loved them, and bought them (I rented and bought the 2nd game probably a year or two after I bought the 1st). With this new game, I'll probably just look up Let's Plays on YouTube, or rent it, if possible. I probably won't listen to any reviews, since I can get a much better grasp of the game's environment and gameplay by watching it, rather than reading about it.

As for the movie, I'm going to try and avoid any further reviews/spoilers. When I saw the first six movies (not all at the same time), I knew little if anything about them. I intend to do the same thing with this movie: have as few expectations as possible (kind of difficult to do having already seen both trailers), and try to let the experience be the same as it was with the first six.

Reading Thrawn trilogy, Probably going to watch the OT it's closer to the release date, replaying KotOR.

I had a pretty great run of all my Star Wars games a few months ago.

I've heard they're thinking about making another one.

Not really pay attention unless jimmies get jammed and then watch it on ABC in five years when I'm bored and there's nothing else to do.

Not interested. I was never fan of the movies.

Though I liked both "Clone wars" series, the short episodes and the CGi made ones…..so that's it.

I'm going to be optimistic on this one. J.J Abrams did a wonderful job rebooting Star Trek and since he's a huge Star Wars nerd, i'm confident he can atleast make a fun movie to watch.
As for my approach, well, i'm revisiting some of the old star wars games like republic commando, Battlefront 2, and Jedi Academy. I'm definitely want to take the family with me to see the movie on christmas
