As said on the title. Is too much to post fictional gore, blood, and violence if it's from a video game or from a series?
Is this thing allowed. If not then I'm extremely sorry for posting this and would understand if you removed these.

not that I know, but I'm gonna guess cartoony giblets like in TF2 are allowed
if it was guro (sp?) japanese anime depictions of mutilations and shit, that's just graphic as fuck, I hope they don't allow that
the picture you posted, that's just blood splatter and demonic disfiguration, I have a feeling that's in the grey area
Post some and see if you get disciplined.

No, too risky. Someone PM a mod or two with links to this thread.
Personally, I'd say that you can apply the same logic to gore that you do to pornography.
I wouldn't allow CGI porn or something explicitly sexual in the forums without a tag. The same would apply to gore from a video game.

However, there is that gif of the guy whose head explodes. I would believe that this is against the rules as well, but I don't do anything about it, because it's so commonplace.
But it is inconsistent with the rules and the logic I presented. I'd like for another mod to weigh in though.

tl;dr: Treat it like pornography. NSFW tags, links, and thread titles, and use it only when it's applicable.
Okay, I can post cartoon or game gore but I have to cautious to not got too far.
I'll just give a bit of my opinion:
Pictures with minimal amount blood and small cuts in them don't necessarily need a NSFW tag. But if the image has a large amount of blood and the cuts are more deep(say like a gash or a flesh wound), then those pictuere deserves NSFW. Your thoughts?
Cartoon giblets like TF2 is alright.
Explicit guro isn't allowed and neither is actual gore.
Maybe I should actually go see if I can't dig up some truly disturbing Mass Effect images (which will most likely be dominated by the Reapers) and see what the local moderators think about them…
I think these are fine. Because it's obvious it's a game. But no extremely gory image like the one you found in r/WTF. If it will be up-voted/down-voted is other question. But nothing that involves intense amounts of blood and/or mutilation from REAL LIFE.
In brief: Fictional gore =/= Real gore

pretty much this. if you have a specific image you'd love to have on the site but aren't sure just pm me or another mod you feel comfortable asking.
