"11037" is the number Sayaka Maizono wrote during her murder. The number essentially doesn't mean anything, but if you see it upside down, it reveals the name of Sayaka's killer. The number quickly became a meme in the Danganronpa community.

Origin

The meme comes from Chapter 1 from the game Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc. In this chapter occurs the murder of Sayaka Maizono, one of the members of the so-called Killing Game. She is found in one of the rooms by Makoto Naegi, who finds her in his room after he swapped rooms with her the night before. Behind Sayaka a number is written on the wall using her own blood, that is 11037. Later it is revealed that the number isn't actually a number, but the name of Sayaka's killer, Leon Kuwata.
