Nothing Beats a Jet2 Holiday, also known as Nothing Beats a Jet2holiday TV Ad or Darling Hold My Hand Jet2, refers to a catchphrase featured in a YouTube advertisement for Jet2, a British airline and package holiday provider. The ad, which uses Jess Glynne's song "Hold My Hand," was initially shared in early January 2024 but gained sarcastic meme usage on TikTok in March 2025 as users added the female narration saying, "Nothing beats a Jet2 holiday," and juxtaposed the upbeat soundbite with content related to chaotic or dangerous situations they found themselves in.

According to Jet2's [5] official press release, the official "nothing beats a Jet2holiday" campaign[6] was released on December 23rd, 2022. On January 4th, 2024, Jet2 uploaded a video on its official YouTube[1] channel, titled "Nothing Beats a Jet2holiday," which features a TV advert showing a family going on vacation while "Hold My Hand" by Jess Glynne plays in the background. The video (seen below) amassed more than 82,000 views and 1,300 likes in a year.
On August 1st, 2024, the same TV advert was uploaded on TikTok,[2] becoming one of the main viral soundbites on the platform, which accumulated more than 124,000 videos in almost a year.

Sarcastic content using the Jet2 TV advert was popularized over the next few months in late 2024 on TikTok, where users added videos of dangerous situations during a vacation or chaotic behavior related to airplanes, using the soundbite as a comedic juxtaposition of the content and the upbeat tone of the narration.
For instance, on November 1st, 2024, TikTok[3] posted a video of a camel attacking a person while the Nothing Beats a Jet2 Holiday meme plays in the background. The post (seen below) received more than 17 million plays and 3.7 million likes in almost a year.

On April 21st, 2025, Jet2's official TikTok[4] account posted a video joining the Nothing Beats a Jet2 Holiday meme, showing the marketing team dubbing the TV advert sound. The post (seen below) amassed more than 12 million plays and 119,000 likes in two months.
