Berduck is a bot created by software engineer Max Anton Brewer, known by his online handle deepfates. According to its project page on Deepfates.com,^[1] the bot differentiates itself from digital assistants like Clippy by listening, asking questions and helping people think things through step-by-step, referring to it as "the algorithmic version of the Math Lady meme." While the bot was originally launched on Twitter in December 2020, it eventually moved to Bluesky in April 2023.
