Bling-Bang-Bang-Born refers to the opening song for the second season of anime series Mashle, sung by Creepy Nuts. The song gained popularity with edits, memes, and parodies because of its catchy melody, dance, and lyrics.

Origin

On January 6th, 2024, the opening song for Mashle season two anime series titled "Bling-Bang-Bang-Born" by Creepy Nuts was released by the official YouTube[1] channel アニプレックス チャンネル (shown below). On the next day, the full version of the song was released.



Spread

Shortly after itts release, both the dance and song inspired edits and parodies. For example, on January 18th, 2024, YouTube[2] user 유시후 uploaded a dance animation using the song as a reference. The video received more than 1.2 million views in one month (shown below, left). On February 3rd, 2024, YouTube[3] user me and my brø!! try tøy shøwers!!! 5 uploaded an animation of the character Jax from The Amazing Digital Circus doing the dance. The video received more than 14 million views in three weeks (shown below, right).



On January 21st, 2024, YouTube[4] user TeshiiSan uploaded a parody version of the video using Genshin Impact characters. The video received more than 385,000 views in one month (shown below, left). On January 30th, 2024, YouTube[5] user ElVitt0ri0 uploaded a parody video using Five Nights at Freddy's characters. The video received more than 495,000 views in three weeks (shown below, right).



Arabic Cover

On February 7th, 2024, YouTube[6] user Birmo Salva uploaded a cover version of the song in Arabic. The video received more than 853,000 views in two weeks (shown below).



On February 12th, 2024, Facebook[7] user Reaktor Kustoma uploaded the video alongside a clip from the game Arma 3 referencing the 2021 Taliban Offensive in Afghanistan. The video received 890 reactions and more than 2,500 shares in two weeks (shown below, left). On the next day, Facebook[8] user Kychae uploaded a video with men dancing to the song as a reaction. The video received more than 1,100 reactions and 1,100 shares in two weeks. On February 15th, 2024. Facebook[9] page Random meme anime uploaded a similar video as Kychae's (from Instagram user @bluezone.nime). The video received more than 3,100 reactions and 1,700 shares in two weeks (shown below, right).
