About
Donald Trump's Walter Reed Hospital Photographs refers to a series of images released by the White House and others of President Trump's stay at Walter Reed hospital while being treated for COVID-19.
Origin
On October 2nd, 2020, President Trump checked into Walter Reed hospital for treatment of the coronavirus. The first photographs released of Trump's stay at the hospital were published on October 3rd. The first set was photos of the room he stayed in. Reporter Richard Southern tweeted, [1] "U.S president Trump isn’t staying in any old hospital room. Walter Reed Hospital has a six-room presidential suite just for the commander in chief that includes an intensive care unit, a kitchen, a living room, a bedroom, & a dining room with a crystal chandelier." The tweet received more than 31,000 likes and 22,000 retweets in less than three days.
On October 3rd, the White House released two photographs of President Trump seated at a table, looking at papers and folders with a sharpie in his hand (shown below, left and right).

Air Current Editor-in-Chief Jon Ostrower questioned the validity of the photographs. he tweeted,[3] "The photos released by the WH tonight of the president working at Walter Reed were taken 10 minutes apart at 5:25:59 pm and 5:35:40 pm ET Saturday, according to the EXIF data embedded in both @AP wire postings that were shared by the White House this evening." The tweet received more than 97,000 likes and 37,000 retweets in less than two days (shown below, center).
Many mocked the photos online, calling them staged. Thet tweet received more than 16,000 likes and 4,000 retweets in less than two days (shown below, center).
