Overview
Erina Gudono's Smelly Armpits Controversy refers to discourse about wife of Kaesang Pangarep, the son of current President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, who has rumored have smelly armpits. It became a part of Peringatan Darurat protests against the government by mocking her after she caught red-handed goes to the US by using private jet, and due to allegation and conspiracy of the Regional Election law was changed for giving a way to Kaesang to join the election and became a Governor.

During the "Peringatan Darurat" protest, son of President of Indonesia, Kaesang Pangarep, goes to the US using private jet with his wife, Erina Gudono[6]. On August 22nd, 2024, Twitter / X[1] user @nuhagunawan uploaded the earliest post noticing the Erina's smelly armpits with translated caption "This building and lobby are silent witnesses to the smell of Erina's armpits." The post received more than 5,600 reposts and 51,000 likes in six days (shown below).

The post received more than 32,000 reposts and 70,000 likes in six days (shown below, left). On the same day, Twitter / X[5] user @isishaki uploaded photo of Gojek driver (similar to UberEats) delivering the food wearing a gas mask with translated caption "ojol every time he delivers food to Erina's house:" The post received more than 1,400 reposts and 11,000 likes in five days (shown below, right).
