Goku (Mid) is a playable form of Goku in the video game Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3. This character became popular as a meme after the teaser for the fourth entry in the Budokai Tenkaichi series, with people beginning to request for the character to be a playable form again.
It has since been confirmed that Goku (Mid) is indeed returning to the fourth entry in the Budokai Tenkaichi series.
Origin
Started becoming popular on Reddit and Twitter after the announcement of Budokai Tenkaichi 4 OR Sparking! Zero in 2023 as a popular character request, since this character, Goku (Mid), was playable in Tenkaichi 3.
One of the early instances of this character's presence as a meme was in a reddit post through user u/FirePower8700 with the reddit post titled: Goku
