I don't care about fucking homeless people." The episode premiered in June 2019 and the dialogue became the subject of memes and lip dubs on TikTok in December 2023, becoming further popularized throughout January 2024.

On June 9th, 2019, Big Little Lies season two premiered. At one point in the episode, Madeline Mackenzie, played by Reese Witherspoon, yells at Abigail that she doesn't care about homeless people as Abigail tells her about the number of homeless people in America (shown below).

On September 29th, 2023, TikToker^[1] @user473331588629 posted an edit of the scene, garnering over 3 million views in four months (shown below).

The original sound for @user473331588629's video garnered over 40,000 uses over the next four months, seeing a peak in interest in December 2023 that carried through January 2024. Some of the most popular videos under the sound are captioned lip dubs, using Witherspoon's dialogue to describe something the TikToker doesn't care about. On December 23rd, 2023, TikToker^[2] @mywatchhistory posted another version of the clip without music, garnering over 400,000 views in a month. The original sound was used over 3,000 times in a month.

On January 6th, 2024, TikToker^[3] @frankiejustchillin posted a video using the first audio, garnering over 9.4 million views in two weeks (shown below, left).
