Kara Mia is a popular internet meme and it is an upcoming drama premiere on February 2019 on GMA Network, Philippines' TV station (which is not to be confused which it stands for 'Good Morning America', a program of USA TV station, ABC.).

Origin

During the teaser of the upcoming drama shows on GMA Network, Kara (portrayed by Barbie Forteza) and Mia (portrayed by Mika Dela Cruz) have two faces divided in one body. Kara was in front and Mia was in back. When they get older, they will discover a way on how to separate their face with its own body every morning, while going back to their original form at night. Just at December 31, 2018, a day before January 1, 2019, a trailer was shown on TV and YouTube. It was started with the Kara Mia challenge.

The Kara Mia challenge was spreaded on YouTube worldwide. Kara Mia challenge like #KaraMia was trending in all social media pages. On January 14, 2019, Claro The Third uploaded the video "KARA MIA FAILS" which is the meme compilation of the drama series.
