Red Screaming Man In A Car refers to a video of comedian Dan Hentschel screaming in a car while wearing red makeup around his head, making it look as though he has suffered severe burns. The video spread on Twitter in August of 2024 as users gave the video humorous captions.

On August 1st, 2024, Twitter user @danghentschel[1] posted a video of himself covered in red makeup and screaming in agony in a car. The clip gained over 7,200 retweets and 46,000 likes in one day (shown below).

On his YouTube channel,[2] Hentschel has multiple videos in which he wears various kinds of makeup and monologues as different characters.

The video inspired numerous caption jokes on Twitter in the day after it was posted. For example, on August 1st, 2024, Twitter user uwukko[3] posted the video with the caption, "the apple scaring the doctor away," gaining over 7,100 retweets and 88,000 likes in less than one day (shown below, left). On August 2nd, user @empyrealviolet[4] quote-tweeted the video with a joke about Elden Ring, gaining over 1,400 retweets and 19,000 likes in less than one day (shown below, right).
