The Crash Wasn't Your Fault
About
The Crash Wasn't Your Fault is a series of image macros featuring characters who hallucinate or dream conversations with a deceased friend or family member who tells them to forgive themselves for surviving a car accident years prior.

Precursor
The series may have been inspired by the final scene in Season 4 Episode 14 "My Screw Up" of the American sitcom Scrubs, in which it is revealed that the character Dr. Perry Cox (played by John C. McGinley), had been hallucinating his deceased friend Ben Sullivan (played by Brendan Fraser) as if he were alive.
