On the 1st of September 2022, the official account of the WWE, the World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc (@WWE) posted the one-word tweet "wrestling".

This tweet stems from a long time of the WWE advertising itself as "Sports Entertainment" under Vince McMahon, but as soon as he left the company, the new board decided to go back to actual wrestling.

Following that tweet, many popular Twitter accounts tweeted one-word tweets themselves, e. g. Riot Games (creators of League of Legends, tweeting "gameS), McDonald's ("clown") or Amazon Prime Video ("rings.")
