Idris Elba Latest Celebrity To Announce They Have Coronavirus
The Coronavirus sucks for a lot of reasons, but on top of targeting the elderly, causing businesses to close, and forcing sports and restaurants to be canceled, it has shown an annoying talent for attacking some of the world's most beloved actors.
Tom Hanks' diagnosis last week seemed to be a wake-up call to many that the danger of the virus was real, and now actor Idris Elba has confirmed that he has it.
The Thor_, "_Cats":/memes/subcultures/cats-2019-film, and The Wire actor posted a video to Twitter yesterday announcing the diagnosis, saying that he presented no symptoms but got tested after being in contact with someone who later tested positive. He has been self-quarantining ever since.

He encouraged solidarity and encouraged social distancing behavior, including maintaining a clean lifestyle. Naturally, the news rattled fans in much the same way the Tom Hanks news did. Many responded with his iconic Hot Wings meme, which has never seemed more appropriate than it has at this moment.

Elba joins Hanks, James Bond actress Olga Kurylenko, and Game of Thrones actor Kristofer Hivju as famous actors who have unfortunately contracted Corona.
