Too spicy for me, the rest of the family liked it,
but it wasn't anything anyone raved about. I do
have a low (basically NO) spice tolerance, so I
omitted the bell peppers and green onions, used
regular diced tomatoes, used homemade mild
taco seasoning, but I think there was too much
BBQ sauce. It might be tolerable if I halved the
BBQ sauce and spices, but again, I have
absurdly low spice tolerance. We also used
homemade whole wheat Greek yogurt biscuits,
because we try to make things healthy as much
as we can.

Followed the recipe except substituted olive
oil for milk. Also, divided loaves in half after the
trifold. The outcome is a great tasting loaf with a
very close (small bubbles) crumb -- More like an
Italian bread. Missing are the big holes for butter
and jam to drip through. Any thoughts on why
the close crumb versus an open ciabatta crumb?

oil contributed to the change in texture.

I've got nothing against tuna. I like tuna. in a baked
potato or a sandwich it's great and it's got lots of omega-3
which is good for you. But Tuna in a Milkshake is just
wrong. Why don't you have an Oreo Milkshake or a
Strawberry Millions, or Dime Bar, or Mars Bar or any of
the 70+ flavours on the menu. But please, please stop
asking for Tuna Milkshakes.

My 15-year-old just looked up from the couch & said:
"Ever think about how Santa Claus imagery is just like
Christian iconography? Which makes sense-he's
basically America's chief deity. He's like any other God
-omnipotent, watching us all the time, insisting on
'good behavior,' punishing or rewarding...but the
religion he represents is Capitalism."
Pause.
"He's a Capitalist religious icon & our worship of him is
consumerism."

The kids are alright.
