Joe Rogan Shooting Tesla Truck With Arrow refers to an image of podcast host Joe Rogan shooting a Tesla Cybertruck with a bow and arrow which was posted by Elon Musk on Halloween night, 2023. Musk had appeared on Rogan's podcast that night, and posted the photo to show off the Tesla truck's strong armor. In the post, he mistyped Rogan's name as 'Rohan' leading to many memes comparing Rogan to characters from the Rohan territory in Lord of the Rings.

The phrase is used as an excuse to get out of doing something due to "the economy" and it first started gaining prominence around 2008 during the Great Recession.
