Ahmed Mohamed was eager to show his homemade digital clock to his teacher at MacArthur High School, but when school officials saw the circuit boards inside the device, they arrested him for bringing a "hoax bomb" to campus. But every cloud has a silver lining; the attention on his story has brought the 14-year-old robotics enthusiast V.I.P invitations to all sorts of exciting places, including the White House, MIT and the headquarters of Google and Facebook, just to name a few.
