Archie Sonic Comics - What a Dump.

It seems after the Super Genesis Wave, a reality altering event cause by a lawsuit from as disgruntled former writer, the comics have become more like the games and Silver's future has changed as well.
It seems, due to the events of Sonic Rivals 2, his future has gone from apocalyptic to dystopian with a non-elected council running the place with SWATbots, forcing people to work shifts organised by them and failure to do so results in arrest. They also seem to take people with powers like Silver into a science centre where they're never heard from again, thus to avoid them Silver lives and trains where they can't find him i.e. here.

Silver is a lonely, lonely person.
