The Legend of Zelda - Legend of Zelda post-apocalypse

Some context: One of the original ideas for the original Legend of Zelda (yes, the NES one) was Chrono Trigger-esque time travel where you'd travel to the distant future and collect three microchips instead of the Triforce. It was scraped for obvious reasons but it's a shame that they haven't used the idea again, at least to a scale such as that.
