I've said this elsewhere about Silver Spoon and Diamond Tiara, but I'll paraphrase it here too.

"She's basically living the nightmare. Getting a cutie mark basically equates to some sort of self-discovery or revelation, example the Mane Six getting their marks in Cutie Mark Chronicles. With Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon, their cutie marks are about opulence and wealth, neither of which earned it. DT probably got hers playing princess and putting on a tiara with a diamond on it and looking in the mirror, whereas double-S may very well have just popped out with hers, considering the phrase 'born with a silver spoon in his/her mouth' means to be born into luxury, privilege and/or wealth. Neither character experienced any growth, had any sort of deep truth revealed about themselves and they have learned nothing about themselves or what they want to do with their lives."

Tumble Hooves up there's cutie mark literally has her on it. This may be speculation on my part, but she very well may have just gotten it by getting a big head about herself, leading her to assume her mark is basically her ticket to thinking she's the greatest pony in all creation.

Gets cutie mark in over-analyzing pointless stuff. Oh come on, how do you even visualize that concept?!
