I just came up with a bunch of Monster Hunter-themed additions to the game.

Assist Trophy: Felynes. The felynes start up a BBQ spit and start roasting a raw steak. Depending on when you (or anyone else) grab the steak, it will either do nothing (raw), heal 8% (rare), heal 30% (well done) or stun you (burnt). The burnt meat will drop if the spit is ignored and can be thrown for moderate damage.

Item: Paintball. Hitting an enemy with it causes any "targeted" attacks such as those of certain Pokemon, assist trophies, or stage hazards to prioritize them if given the choice.

Stage: Sandy Plains. Large, flat, walk-offs. Hazards include packs of Jaggi chasing Aptonoth on the bottom of the stage, Nibelsnarf occasionally appearing to bite at platforms near the edges of the screen, and Deviljho sometimes showing up to rampage and break platforms. Deviljho prioritizes eating food-related items to rampaging.

Item: Barrel Bomb S. Picking it up or attacking it lights fuse. Explodes when fuse burns down. Explosion causes damage and knockback roughly equivalent to a Bob-omb.

Assist Trophy: Cha-Cha/Kayamba. One of the two will appear and proceed to dance. Upon completing its dance, the summoning player/team gets a temporary buff of attack power, speed, or defense depending on the dances. The characters are functionally identical.
