So basically Dr. Robotnik will be the pathetic lonely bachelor who lives with his pet hedgehog and such who always 'hilariously' wreck the gizmos and robots he tinkers on in his spare time.

And meanwhile the internet would be filled with hoards of bad Garfield OCs. The most famous ones being Garfichu and Cold Steel the Cat.
