"Judging fandoms at all is stupid.
No, it's not an opinion, it's simply factually wrong to say that liking a game or whatever makes you a bad person, and by definition all that a fanbase will inherently share is enjoying or being interested in whatever it's about.
The solution is to just stop judging fandoms altogether, all you'll get is either stupid bigotry or useless tautologies, there's nothing to be gained from it. If you have love or hatred for a specific subgroup or individual, then target that specific subgroup or individual and leave the rest alone. It's the only right thing to do."
