Ah, good ol' Saitama. Trying to look cool just so either he feels his heart racing again since the boredom granted by his unlimited power (it didn't work) or just trying to get some fame – Neither, the drag Saitama's adding to the aircraft plus the "won't he play any tricks, right?" fear seriously hindered the guy for whatever mission he had, like, unleashing some freedom on their equivalent of ISIS without the Hero Association's help.

Seriously, this is the kind of thing that made me attached to One Punch Man. Heroes and non-heroes, everybody is working hard trying to save the day and succeeding, while even the comedic routines DO NOT run on Looney Tunes logic – Running back and forth with a comical dust cloud behind you? The angry crowd took note of the panic and dirt accumulated in their clothing and housing after your antics. Everything has consequences.

Saitama is the Hero Gotham never asked for (and is suing for property damage).

This is something that automatically makes me like a show/movie/whatever more. Too many stories have destruction or other shenanigans along the way, then there are no consequences to the collateral damage the good guys cause. Not even a passing remark over that tanker truck that blew up a city block to kill the badguy, no court order for stealing a car to chase down the badguy, no cops arriving after shooting a gun in a city, no criticism for destroying an entire restaurant after a fight, no complaints about making a peaceful town look like a bombed warzone, no effects on the economy or society after killing a secretly-evil world leader or dismantling a corrupt supercorporation.

Every time something like this happens blatantly, I just think of this:

Good on One-Punch Man for paying attention to detail and thinking things through better than so many others.
