I mean…it isn't wrong. The thing with steven bombs is that it takes an entire month's worth of episodes and releases them in a week.
Of course, that isn't to say that there are not advantages. Steven bombs have a powerful narrative effect- by putting them back to back, you can more easily follow the flow of the story. Waiting 5 weeks to find out that Pearl was finally forgiven for being SO DAMN THIRSTY would also be torture.
There are no new episodes coming between now and February 21st, and no new episodes scheduled at all. That will be our seventh week since Stevenbomb 4 began, with only five episodes to show for it. A weekly schedule would actually put us ahead.
Besides, the idea that Stevenbombs "improve ratings" is patently bunk. When one looks at listings of the show's ratings, there's no real difference between Stevenbomb weeks and no-Stevenbomb weeks. In any case… I like having time to let a single episode breathe. It keeps up casual interest and gives the fandom time to discuss and react, instead of just having all the mysteries revealed in one great big chunk and then having to eat scraps.
