Sticker Star may be slightly closer to the first 2, in terms of gameplay, but it is not better. You know why? Because Super Paper Mario actually remembers the one thing that matters most to Paper Mario, and Mario RPGs in general: The story and characters. If you want to know why these things are so important, then please see literally any of my comments involving Color Splash. And, while you're right in that we still technically don't know whether or not CS will actually be bad , we still don't know if it's going to be good , either. I mean, defending Color Splash, from having only seen the trailers, is like doing the same with Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts 2, or a hypothetical Sonic '06 sequel.
