Supper Mario Broth @MarioBrothBlog In Super Paper Mario, Back Cursyas are frustrating enemies that send Mario out of an area when touched. The game contains an entry for an unused "Dark Back Cursya" that, had it been implemented, would have easily become known as one of the most unfair moments in a Mario game. Regular Tech Heavy 00% 00 00 118) Revena Back 00 Could be any one! In Super Paper Mario, Cursyas are rare enemies that inflict negative status effects when touched. The Back Cursya is the most frustrating, sending Mario out of the area and back to Flipside when touched. All of them have Dark variants, which are indistinguishable, except for the Back Cursya. However, the game's internal enemy list contains an entry for "FL", which stands for "Dark Back Cursya". No files remain for it, but the entry implies it was at one point intended to also appear in the Flopside Pit of 100 Trials. This is Floor 91 of the Flopside Pit of 100 Trials, which contains a large number of the various Dark varieties of Cursyas. Imagine if one of them was the Dark Back Cursya, and it was impossible to tell which without scanning them all with Tippi/Tiptron. Imagine if one of them randomly teleported Mario out of the Pit, completely resetting his progress, if he so much as touched it. This would easily become known as the most unfair moment in Mario game history. urce: tcrf.net/Notes:Super Paper Mario; Supper Mario Broth; screenshot taken in a Wil emulator, game: Super Paper Mario (NA, Wii)
