Did…they honestly expect a different result?

…do they really, truly believe those commercials where they call TTG "your new favorite show"? It is a subversive breakdown of a show that hasn't been on for years. In its own context, it is just terrible characters being willfully terrible and annoying. If the original teen titans was still on, it might be slightly (SLIGHTLY) acceptible as an omake of that show- a nice comparison and contrast with the more serious nature at times.

Now I can see them not realizing how much they fucked up with PPG though. That is the kind of thing execs might need polls for to start realizing.

And really…comparing anything to Steven Universe is kind of unfair.
