Polygon hasn't reviewed DOOM yet and we dont even know if it'll be the same person playing it as it is reviewing The issue is far simpler. If you put a video out on Youtube to show a game, then you play it so badly that it makes the game look awful and impedes your progress to the point where people don't get to see much, then you ve made a bad video. You don't have to be a god at games to do this job, at all (case in point). You do at least have to exhibit a basic level of competence so you can actually showcase the game to a decent degree. Polygon's sin is making a s----- video and then thinking it would be ok to just upload it onto the internet as a good example of DoOM being played. If they can't make decent videos, they should probably just stick to writing. Well, first they'd have to learn how to get good at that.. Show less
