Steven Universe - peridot

"I'm fixing my limb enhancers."
"Why in Homeworld are you fixing limb enhancers at 4 am?"
"Because I've lost control of my life."

As much as some people may hate me for making this comparison, one good comparison I can make is this: imagine the Transformers in the G1 cartoon are the "simplified cartoon version" while the Transformers in the Michael Bay movies are their "real appearance" since those movies are live action after all. Bayformers are much more highly detailed and "realistic" looking, and arguably even look more machine-like compared to the cartoon versions.

Hey I know Bayformers movies tend to be dumb action flicks with issues with writing the characters, but the special effects are top-notch, and really that is one of the only really good comparisons I could come up with right away.
