when you're leading so strongly, debating a no-chance underdog just makes you look like a less relevant candidate. There's nothing to win by debating Sanders. Trump has already debated in settings with totally hostile audiences (GOPe donors) because he knew he had to do it to win. Debating in front of bernbots accomplishes nothing. Bernie has already hit his glass ceiling long ago, the vast majority doesn't fall for the "free shit" discourse.
