Harambe the Gorilla - I still can't believe it

My hopes and dreams for more Gorillaz music is destroyed by a small child.

Speaking of Gorillaz, I'm just glad to know we'll eventually get new stuff later this year. One thing's for sure, Albarn and Hewlett really take their time with each album (The Fall is a bit of an odd one though as that one was really more like an entire B-Sides album for Plastic Beach, since Albarn just made the whole thing on his iPad while on tour and put it out only one year after Plastic Beach).

Interestingly (if we ignore The Fall as a "mainline" release and more as a side release) the wait time increases by one year each album. 4 years between the self titled album and Demon Days, 5 years between Demon Days and Plastic Beach, and now 6 years between Plastic Beach and whatever the new album will be called. If this pattern keeps up looks like the fifth album won't be out until 2023.
