The original photo depicts fights in the Stade Vélodrome in Marseille (France) during the Euro2016 soccer competition, on June 11, 2016.

Josydelacompta added the shovel man.

Olivier Mazerolle, a famous journalist and editorialist, was interviewing Stéphane Le Foll, the French government's spokeperson, live on the most listened-to radio station in France, RTL, on June 14, 2016.

Mazerolle addressed Le Foll about the security measures at the entrance of the stadiums and about how they were not sufficient, and anyway loose enough to let a man enter the stadium with a shovel, having based his address on the photoshopped version of the photo.

Le Foll replied that he saw no shovel on the images he had seen.

Soon after that, many Twitter users started to mock Olivier Mazerolle for not having recognized that this photo was the instance of a famous meme originating from a highly publicized photo and a not less well-known news affair (i.e. the fights between some hunters and some members of the Bird Protection League in early November 2015).
