Make all the characters male and claim people hate the movie because the main characters are male.

Then everyone will want to see it.

There was a post by a random anon on /mlp/ about how the trailer for the MLP movie will be, and it joked about it being CG live action, like the smurfs. Can't find it, but I guess this will have to do.
