Reimi's choker is one of those details everyone notices, simply because it's morbid in both insinuation of strangulation and the connection of hands to Kira but the symbolism of clasped hands actually goes way deeper than It's a very popular symbol on gravestones, usually this symbol represents a relationship between the dead and the loved ones they left behind. For Reimi, this would be Morioh itself and the people who live there However this symbol can also be interpreted as the deceased leading a loved on into the next life. So perhaps the hands on Reimi's choker aren't loved ones, but they certainly are leading each other to their doom. Kind of a "ifI go down you're going with me thing.
